A minor drawback for an outstanding rod. The three major releases that happened were in the value space the tidal the nexus and the accel sort of. Jim bartschi is really at the top of the industry and the top of his game at the moment. The tidal is not overly heavy but not nearly as light in hand as the meridian.

It is a slower action rod than the meridian but still had lots of power.
