Rustic pathways enabled me to interact with the people of peru in a way that no tourism company can provide because the sacred valley service program is so much. Arrive in lima meet your rustic pathways program leaders and take a private bus to the miraflores neighborhood where after a brief orientation you ll settle in for the night. Students will travel via private bus throughout the program as they travel around peru. Overall a really memorable adventure during which i made great new friends and experienced peru in a way not many other people have.

Our dedicated development ambassadors raised more than 16 000 in support of the sacred valley project in peru last year. Student will fly back to lima on the last day of their program and then make the connection for their flights home. Additionally i was able to benefit to the future success of a community in the peruvian andes through volunteering and participating in community service. I chose the rustic pathways program of sacred valley service because it allowed me to immerse myself in an entirely new culture on a continent i had never been to.
